Well, I have good news and I have less good news (it's not bad news, but it's not great news). I got a job in addition to my current part time job in Salt Lake City. So between the two jobs and travel time I'll be gone at 40-50 hours per week. I'm taking 18 credits at school, so I honestly won't have time to do Insanity every day. Some days I'll be able to, but there will be some days where I'm gone the entire day. Yesterday for instance, I left at 7:20 am and didn't get home until 7:30 pm. One good thing about my work is that I'm on my feet most of the day. At least there's that.
So the best approach to this situation will be to count calories. My goal will be to keep myself to 2000 calories per day. This is going to be hard because my body burns about 2700 per day. Plus the medicine I'm on increases appetite, so even if my body doesn't need food, it makes my mind feel like I desperately need it. Therefore, it will definitely require self-mastery!
Wish me luck!!!!
Congrats of the new job! What do you do?
ReplyDeleteI am calorie counting, too. I just started about four days ago. In a lot of ways it's a fun challenge. But it's a also hard. If I want to lose 2 pounds a week, I have to stick to 1200 calories a day. I need 1900 to maintain my weight. So far I've been doing really well, other than on Friday when we went out for Indian food. I'm excited to see if this helps me lose weight faster.
